This was a fun little bar where the locals seem to go to play pool, listen to live music, or play trivia (on one of the trivia boxes against other bars, not a bar wide host). The drink prices are reasonable ($4-$6 for a beer) and it's a great combination of dive and local hangout.

Number one dive bar on Flagler this place provides a great place to meet up with friends for a few drinks and conversation the wings are good and the bands are awesome this place is the happening place on the weekends. The service has always been good and they pour great drinks. Remember where you are it's a local hangout in a small beach town with lots of tourist we love it and apparently it works because everyone wants to be here it can get crowded and loud and that a place of the experience If you're in town on vacation enjoy the local vibe you should experience it. If you're looking for a family low key restaurant this is not that place.

Same old dive bar, no problem with that, jacked up prices with new ownership. We won't be going back. Nicer places on Flagler to go. Always seemed to be popular with the locals, not anymore!

We came for the live auction on Tuesday night and It. Was. Awesome!!!!! They have over 200 items that they auction off, and its so entertaining. We walked away with a game of Balderdash, baseball cards (clearly not the girls bid), a picture and a little radio with moving lips...high light of the evening folks for $3! This is not a high end establishment and thats what makes it so great. Minuses- you can still smoke in here, which is gross. Come for the entertainment...you wont be disappointed!!

Have been going there for 20 years while on vacation. New ownership. Warning: run do not walk away. Seriously high prices, low end food and the atmosphere of a state fair toilet.

These guys are simply awesome. The food is pretty standard stuff, chicken sandwiches, burgers, fries, et cetera. They will make your burger EXACTLY how you ask, which has been pretty difficult with restaurants, since alot seem scared to serve a rare burger. The chicken is nothing like the McFoamy's you get at fast food chains. I remember this place when I first came down to Florida and nothing has changed and I hope it never will! Such a great place for a cheap meal and some entertainment.

I was there in July 1993!...It was true luck to find such a cool place. The food and drinks were really good and from everything I've read it hasn't changed!

I am torn with this review because I want to give the food four stars and the waitresses 1. We went twice during our July 4th trip. First time I got pizza and wings. Pizza didn't come for two of us, waitress made a mistake. So by the time I got my pizza, I had eaten wings and was stuffed. What a waste the pizza was delicious. Then check time, the waitress got two bills extremely mixed up. We did not sit by our boyfriends which did make it confusing, but I still don't understand how extra items that were never ordered we were charged for. Then when we they tried to tell the waitress, she refused to listen and finally said, "Well I don't want you guys getting mad so I'll take it off". NOOOOO, you should take it off because this person never ate pizza and this other person didn't eat pizza either. That was definately the wrong thing to say. In the end, it still wasn't resolved. A gin and tonic ended up costing one person 3 dollars and 12 dollars for another. Waitress was rude. Went again another night to play pool, a different waitress but flighty as well. But dang that spinach artichoke dip and homemade chips were yummmyy! I guess I might go again and hope I don't get the two waitresses from before.

I can't begin to tell you how many times I have walked by this restaurant/bar on Flagler and never gone it. What a mistake! We were in NSB on a Thursday evening and heard live music which drew us in. The place was hoppin', the music was great, the owner (Shelley) came to our table and spent about 15 minutes talking to us. Coming from Chicago, we were thrilled to see references to our city all over the restaurant since Shelley is also from Chicago. It was fun to be able to sit at a table in a restaurant, listen to live music and smoke cigars......where can you do that today??!! Loved it and can't wait to go back.

Best place in town for wings. Great for watching football too.

Picture yourself seated at the local watering hole, every view offering the current sports game on high def t.v.'s and friendly faces at every turn! This is the place you want to be in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. The manager makes sure you are happy and enjoying every minute of your visit! The menu is a limited menu but not limited on quality. Everything is fresh and de-lish! Peanut's has an auction every Tuesday night....not to be missed either as you never can tell what treasures you may find there!!! In fact, Peanut's has lots of fun events....check that out when you go!

I checked out Peanuts to watch a football game. They have lots of big screen TVs, so it was a decent option. I ended up going to Flagler's Tavern, though, because there were more lunch options -- the menu at Peanuts is pretty limited to basic bar food. Later in the week, we stopped in for a late drink. It was early December and a little slow, but we had a good time. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. They offer a TV-based trivia game you can play from the bar, but mostly we talked with some of the locals. It seemed like a fun place, but they did close up early, probably because it was a slow time.

We were visiting the beach for the weekend and stumbled upon Peanuts for some live music. "The pirates" was the band playing and they were GREAT!!! Good place to get that local watering hole vibe. They had a large poker game going on in the back but up front was all about the music. Friendly and quick service with affordable drink prices.
